Will S3 wheels fit my car?

Hi All

I wonder if anyone can give me some help, I have a 2005 A3 1.9tdi 8P and I have been offered a set of genuine 18" wheels of an S3 offset 45 in gorgeous condition.
Will they fit my car? some say no and some say yes.

yes these will fit! The earlier model was a different stud pattern the new one is a 5x112 and the old one was 5x100 hope that helps
