Has anyone got any closer to fitting these yet?

The car ecu compares resistance of bulbs eg left and right side light. If the resistance doesn't match it assumes a bulb has blown and on comes the light. Poor quality control on some LED bulbs means they are not matched pairs. You put them in and the ecu shows a fault. If the resistance of both bulbs is too far out of specified the ecu will assume both have blown and flag a fault. A lot of these LED bulbs are so poor they last less time than a normal bulb.
Have you fitted them yet?
Very true martin!

I ordered some LED bulbs for my 2009 Highline a couple of days ago and they turned up this morning. I ordered Phillips H7 Xtremes, LED Side lights and the LED number plate bulbs both with the resistors built in.
Ive only managed to have ago at fitting the number plate led's as its waaaay to cold! and unfortunatly they didnt work :zx11: So ive e-mailed the guy off ebay (hids-direct) to get some replacements.
Very annoying tho!
Worth mentiong they cost £13.95 with free p&p
