This is a warning to anyone using paypal. I have just discovered that if you use a paypal account, they can freeze it and refuse to give you your money. No expaination why. I think this is called theft.

Had it happen to me many times in the past.
They are not anywhere near as bad now... There should be a contact phone number, I had an issue the other day can just called them and they were very helpful.
It's in their T&Cs. Something about being able to do it because they're big and scarey and you're just a little person so who cares. Arrogant ***** who shirk their responsibility to the consumer credit act IMO.
had this happen also... a real PITA but they are quite helpful if you call...
I only pointed this out because if you have an account limit of £1700 and someone buys your car for anything over £1200 and pays by paypal, your account will be locked and you won't get the money. You won't get the money anyway 'cos basic accounts have an annual withdrawal limit of £650. I didn't know any of this so I thought I would put it on here incase other people don't know. Forwarned is forarmed etc.
