I was looking for lots of owner experience and technical knowledge for the 3 months I was waiting for my car to be ready. During that time I learnt a huge amount about what to expect from my car, how to spot potential problems, and how to deal with them before I had even driven it!
Since then I have gained 1st hand experience of ownership and still want to learn more and help others.
Hooray for VWAF!
I make a point of finding a forum for any car I own, invaluable. This looked like the best one as others had a younger outlook and tended to have different ideas for their cars.
I googled when I had a problem with my beloved GTi. Had owned it for about 3 months and thought the forum seemed really friendly - some forums are horrific! I need help, I already know I'm an idiot...:o
I fink it's grate ear.
Found the forum on google with some others, but this is the best by a mile!!:beerchug:
I'm a moderator on volkswagenforum.co.uk and kept "hearing" people make reference to this place and thought i'd give it a go....
I'm not on here as often as i like due to work commitments but i'm here as often as i can....
