Hi all, looking at buying an A4 atm. Its a 2.0 petrol sport version and the seller claims that it runs on synthetic oil. He says that this needs at least half a litre of oil a month as its designed to burn away? Is he hiding something here? The car has only done 37K and it is a petrol?

the Audi spec oil is fully synthetic as standard, hence the long service intervals. I have read other post about the 2.0l burning oil a bit, How many miles a month is he doing?
pass on that one. Will just have to take his word forrit I suppose

Hi I have a A4 B6 2.0 Mine uses oil but its dependant on the miles im doing on average 2000 per month and about 1/2 litre of oil per month ive just clocked 140,000 miles.
