Had my 2000 reg s3 in to get looked at by a specialist last week as i just bought the car. Before i put it in the traction control light was on and when i got it back they said the maf needed changed, so I sent away to gsf to get a bosch Maf, Fitted the maf and connected the plug however the light stayed on.
With the old maf connected the idle was dodgy. with the new maf the idle didnt improve much really so i cleaned out the throttle and it seems to have helped a bit more.
There is also a leeking vacuum hose which im waiting to get tomorrow, could this be the cause of the light being on?
or does it just need reset on vagcom? thanks for any help
