Aftermarket upgrade to Xenon headlamp with LED daylight running lights

Hi

I have just purchased a new model A4 Allroad, it was an actual showroom model so was already specced up etc. It came with lots of extras (leather, phone prep tc.) but did not have the Xenon headlamps with the LED daylight running lights fitted.

I understand the Xenon headlamps are a sealed unit but is it possible to order and have these retro-fitted to a current model A4 with standard lights by just changing the headlamp unit? Or, is there a lot of additional changes required to the car to make it impossible?

Any advice would be appreciated.

If you want xenon then you are going to have to replace the headlamps (easiest option) as I have tried to gently advertise I have a set of UK supplied ADAPTIVE xenon headlights (MY2010 MODEL) 250 pounds the pair! I just want rid of them or they will end up with the other headlights in the loft, Porsche BoxsterMY2000), BMW 330 (MY2002) Mazda MX5 (NB model).

Regarding the set of used lights, (to Bratty) how come you replaced them?

£250 seems fair to me, providing I can get them fitted by someone that know's what they are doing of course.

Hi chris, Yep still have them. If you do a search on this A4 b8 section for "Xenon Headlights" should throw up more info regarding them ie, part numbers etc.

They were changed because I had to have UK lights fitted when I had my New LHD car registered in the UK and were changed the week after for the Euro ones.

Now struggling with other pics.

But they are Xenon UK lights with Adaptive function, there are no control modules or bulbs as they were swapped onto my Euro lights.

I have one spare Xenon bulb that I can throw in (Original Audi supplied):D.

I think they enjoyed being released from the loft for todays photoshoot;).
