MK4 Golf Cabrio Front Susspension? - Help please?
Hi All,
Reversing up my drive last night and noticed that the rear window was slightly slanted against the window on my house. Anyway, thought nothing of, checked this morning and drivers side between the top of the tyre and the wheel arch the gap is approx 1 inch lower than the passenger side.
Has anyone got any ideas about this?
I am not sure about the spring whether they use a wedge to level it and and has affected one of the sides?
Any advise would be great. Many thanks.
Dean

First off, is the car parked on a bump. I once noticed this effect on my Audi, and it was where the tarmac had deformed in the car park, so that wheel was on a bump about 2 inches higher than the rest of the floor.
If it's not that, then have a look at the coil springs. These sometimes corrode at the end and have a bit snap off.
Not sure what you mean about the rear window looking slanted against the house - the windows are slanted slightly.
