20v Turbo conversion

Hi lads,

a few questions for all ye Audi guru's about the AJL code 1.8 from a '00 A4 Quatro. I'm putting this engine into my mk2 golf gti.


Being a longtit, Im sure It'll need to swap a few bits to make it a trans but can somebody give me a list of what needs to be changed please?

I hear the sump pan needs to be changed. Does that mean the oil pump too?
What engine should I be getting these from?

Do I need to fit the clocks and ignition barrel for it to overcome the immobiliser and start?
