lt 35 mwb 158 steering issues please help!!!

hi all my o4 lt 35 done 107k starting making loud whining noises and fluid appearing around drivers wheel but cannot see a leak even on full lock.This all started on a trip to wales to pick up a sofa.Done 280 miles no problem then sat in traffic and could hear a faint whining noise this then developed into a loud whining noise when turning corners have also checked fluid and is on min but not really low???was wondering if anyone has had anything similar.have recently about 300 miles ago had both bottom ball joints changed by garage for mot.any help would be appreciated many thanks rj.:1zhelp:

sounds like the power steering pump is leaking.
if it is,then the noise you are hearing would be because the pump is drawing in air due to the
level being low,
