Aircon issue

Hi all, new member, just found site after wondering if one existed for a while!! Got an issue I noticed yesterday coming home from the airport following a trip to a wet Barcelona & finding the UK bathed in sunshine, boo!! Anyway, the aircon wasnt exactly freezing me on the way home & can only assume i need a re-gas. Its an '02 3.0 quattro sport and as far as I know has never had a re-gas, well the service book dosent say anything anyway & I bought it last summer when it worked fine!! Anyone know costs for this, i live in Hampshire so would no doubt be looking to avoid the main dealers at all cost if wishing to avoid a re-mortgage. Thanks for all help on this...............

You should be able to get it regassed for about £50-60 if you shop around.

Regassing is routine for aircon as natural gas wastage is quite normal especially if you don't use it during the winter.
