How can i change a standard cassette player to a aftermarket cd player.
Hi there. need a point in the right diection with some wiring. mate has got a cd player for a4 1.9 tdi wants it in the car as a replacement for the standard stereo. got a wiring adaptor for it and the player still wont switch on??? its a non BOSE system and have a non BOSE adaptor seems no power is getting to cd player.... any ideas or need more info.... reply to this thread or can email me jonny_boy548@hotmail.com

There is no 12 V switched supply provided. Either find a switched feed or connect it to a permanent 12 V supply - obviously in the latter case the radio will be permanently on (unless you manually turn it off!).
