Does anyone know what the pin-outs are to make the B7 light clusters fit to the B6. They are different connectors but there is a workaround apparently....
(I have also posted this in the Cabrio section of the forum)
TIA

yep, theres an adapter lead on http://www.kufatec.de/shop/index.php
ive been told it compensates for the bulbs too
Wrong way round
The B6 has 2, The B7 has one and the other side is used as a fog light, that is why it has a resistor in there to compensate.
There is a guy called andyccr not sure if he is on here or audi sport forum who has done it himself
i was in a rush when i posted that rite i also did them on the cab in my profile pic
what i ment it the b7 has 2 rear fogs b6 1 was on mine and my mates i did i just ran a wire to the other light under the boot egge trim and soldered the wires cant rember colour but can prob pull light unit out at weekend and tell u the wire colour u need to tap
You have confused me even more now !!
On your B6 that now has B7 rear lights what have you got
reverse lights 1 or 2
fog lights 1 or 2
2 reverse
2 fogs
just looked at old b6 ones in shed they have 2 reverse 1 fog drivers side
I didn't realise there was space for another fog light or reverse light on the b7, will have to have a look
:beerchug:
So its the same for the reverse lights aswell, on my b7 rear light its just on the passengers side inner bottom light, the drivers side inner bottom light is the fog light
I am giving up, doesn't make sense, there isn't enough room for a reverse and a fog light in each cluster
