a4 quattro 2.6 fan exploded

can any body help me please! i have just purchased an a4 quattro 2.6 and it needs a replacent fan! the car has a single fan unit on at the momment! i have enquired about a new fan but the guy says it should have a double unit on! any advice would be greatly recieved. oh its on a 1997 plate too. :1zhelp:

Contrary to what the top of the page says, you could do with putting this in the A4 section. Your car has a mechanical viscous coupling operated fan and an electric fan, which one is at fault?
