tt mk4 golf!

hi there just wondering if anyone knew how hard it would be to fit a audi tt engine into a mk4 golf. any ideas?

thought the 1.8 20valve turbo gti 180bhp was the same engine as the golf gti..

yeh its the same engine but mine is a 99 with throttle cable and i imagine the ecu an that will need changin just wonered how big of a job it would be?

Possible but the wiring will be a big job. Expensive if you arent any good at auto-electrics!
