Re: 1.4 FSI Exhaust sensor
Hi,
I have a 1.4FSI 2004 that I have ran from new. The car now has 63k on the clock. I had a similar problem about 18mths ago and finally cured it by replacing the nox sensor, it did however show a fault code! The part cost was over £300 but I was lucky enough to obtain a part from Vag-Parts at just over £200. If you search past posts there have been several refs. to this or similar probs.
Cheers

Re: 1.4 FSI Exhaust sensor
With FSI engines it's suggested to use higher octane fuel for better of the engine.
Not sure what it has to do with your problem though.

Any one else come across this one?
Is there any thing peculiar about the FSI that they are not telling me?
Comments welcome.
