A6 CVT Input Shaft

Just been blown out by Audi UK Customer services. My 54 plate Audi A6 Avant (with a CVT autobox) has just started juddering whilst pulling away at low RPM. The car is only just 4 years old, mileage is <90K and yet I am to get ZERO goodwill offerings to rectify the fault. It's had full Audi service history and two full gearbox / transmission services - the reason Audi UK aren't willing to help is becasue the 1st gearbox service was 2800 miles over due !!!!!! :zx11: I'm disgusted with Audi UK, what's the point producing engines that gone on for ever when they can't design / manufacture gearboxes that last !

Apparently the input shaft needs replacing, I have been quoted £1500 by Audi dealer although we have a great local independant specialist who will carryout the work for £900 or so.

Any advice on what to do - I'm not confident Audi have diagnosed this correctly.
