Engine Light
Don't know if this is in the right place, but I'm new! :biglaugh:
I have a 2001 B6 Audi A4 1.8T Saloon. When I turn on the ignition, the engine light no longer comes on. I have performed an output test on the instruments with Vagcom and it will light up for the test.
Has it somehow been disabled? Can I reactivate it somewhere?
I know the seatbelt warning light can be deactivated, so wondered if the other lights were the same.
Cheers, Scott

Re: Engine Light
Have you checked the coding value?

Re: Engine Light
Was hoping someone may be able to point me in the right direction!

Re: Engine Light
That is what I was trying to do!

Re: Engine Light
OK - Would help if I knew which coding value to check. I've been all through 17 - Instruments, with no sign of anything that may be suspect.
Is there anywhere else to try?

Re: Engine Light
It is on the main screen and some versions of VAG-COM have pop up bubbles in Coding to help you. Some versions of the panel software allow the MIL to be turned off. I was wondering what the coding value was as that is how it is altered. Post a main screen grab.
