3k bill after 69000 miles!! 55 2.0tdi se
Got my car back complete with 3k bill!!:aargh4: oil pump ,clutch ,turbocharger replaced don't know about the flywheel no mention of that.
Can you imagine if I was the owner,and had spent 18k on a car and had to spend 3 k to fix it with only 69 k on the clock.
I would be creating hell!!
I believe VW are making a major contribution to the bill.
This is my 5th VW and possibly the best car to drive but definately the most unreliable!!

Hi,
Mine has had so much warranty work, and some I have paid for I am dreading the warranty running out.
In the year I have had it has had 36 days off the road. I am currently looking at what options I have legally, I have also seen that used values have dropped through the floor, I wonder why??
Like you say a great car to drive, but totally unreliable :(

At a rough guess I would say the credit crunch and cost of fuel has a lot to do with it.
Unfortunately big cars like the Passat will be particularly badly hit re residuals.
