2.0TFSi Performance

Anybody have one of these in FWD? 211ps

0-60 is slower than the Quattro, but I am sure that 0-100 must be better due to the lighter weight. Looking for a tune up too, but still too early maybe?

Just ordered an SE in Brilliant Black, Sports Cloth seats, Advanced Key, B&O, 18's, Nav and Phone Low. Reading some other posts I think I may have swapped the seats for AMI/Cruise and electrics mirrors! (Strict £29k budget)

Didn't realise they had stolen the SD card slot, vanity mirror light and no parking sensors????

SD slot should come on a SE sholdnt it? The one I test drove did

SD slot is missing if you have NAV

Not heard of anyone with a 2.0T. Dealer couldn't get me one to test drive since none were in the country.

Think too early for tune up. Give it a few months and there should be a few solutions out there!

Yep, i had the same issue on the A5 I am getting. The 2.0T is so new there are hardly any about to test drive yet.

Thanks for the er indepth review.

Only ever considered a manual trans and budget limits me to FWD only so that will free up about 150lbs and a few more horses at the wheels should alay any initial performance fears. Also, the dealer should have made sure the car had more than 170 miles on it, the harshness up top can easily be attributed to a still tight motor (less than 10hours run time)

The chip option will also help here, and by looking at the previous engine 40+ BHP should be available.

I am coming from a chipped 320d with around 200bhp and 400nm. 0-60 I have timed at 7.3. 1 up with half tank - has caught out many a Golf GTi/Focus ST driver from 60-100+ and above - Not looking to go backwards now!

Can I bring this back to life? Anyone actually driving one of these around yet??

You waiting as well?? Can't wait to get mine - have you been for a test drive in one? I have only driven the 143 diesel - smooth, but not quite enough grunt.

Anyone know of any review sites A4/A5 with the new engine?
