Hi there,
I would like to do some DIY on my car but I'm no mechanic but I imagine a oil change not be rocket science. So if anybody can guide me as to what oil(synthetic or non-synthetic) and filters i need to get it would be much appreciated.

audi do a oil which is specificly designed for the audi and vw engines! go to audi and ask for it!

go to the castrol site, put in your car details & it gives you the grade of oil you need.....

the oil filter is a bit of a bitch to get off without one of those 'chain' type removal tools....
the oil sump has a 17mm bolt on, so grab a socket...
*run the car for a short time before draining oil, i'll help it come out....
shouldnt take more than an hour or so...
