Hello all - I have a new problem with my Audi 80 2.0E. Last time I used it there was a grinding noise from the offside rear wheel. I jacked the car up today and detected a bit of play (wheel bearings?) but also suspect the brake pads.
Could anyone give me a quick brief on these two jobs please?

i had both of these noises on mine the rear brakes sexed up on way to work the slider bolts on the caliper hadsixed in the caliper they had to be drilled out
Just to let anyone know - car went into garage today and the rear pads were indeed worn out - hence the grating sound. Having not driven it since it started making the noise the disk itself was ok.
