I have a cambelt coming in on a mk5 - not done the 2.0tdi before, the PD and pre-pd's I usually do are plastic & thus I generally do them when the customer agrees with the belt kit due to the failure issues.
Did VW resolve this or is the 2.0tdi a brass or steel impella one does anyone know? I can't find the info!
