1st post...qestion about a3

Hi
hope you can help.
i need to buy a remote key fob for 01 plate 110 tdi a3.
all i have is the spare non remote.
audi quote 43 quid for a new one, they also say 50 quid to reprogram?
Have seen replacement fobs on ebay will these work.

Yeah they should do if its for your car, like you said you will just need to get it re-programed.

There's different types of remotes. I can't remember what the exact differences are but make sure you get the correct one for your model of car.

There is also a way you can program the keyfob yourself, bringing the total cost from ~£100 down to about £20 if you're lucky. I believe there was a post a while back on this forum. Do a search for it, otherwise you can always google it!
