MK3 ABF Running too Lean

Hi There,

I'm fairly new to this forum but have been reading it avidly for some time now. I'm a commited Golfnut and have owned VWs since learning to drive (quite some time now!)

The problem I'm having at the moment is my MK3 16V ABF engine is running lean. It is down on power and using fuel. The spark plugs are looking glazed with no deposits at all. I have checked and renewed all the vac lines and checked the inlet system for airleaks but can't find any. I have had the dizzy replaced about 6 months ago due to a Hall Sender failure. The car has never quite felt the same since. I know ABF's tend to ru a bit lean but I think mine is excessive.


Any ideas where to start looking for a remedy?
