Mk4 GTi Turbo - AUG - KO3 - Maximum Boost?

Hi all,

Got a mk4 Golf GTi Turbo. Had a N75 valve from the TT fitted...coupled with a remap.

The car isn't running right at present...but when it does run right (touch wood) I've been told it will produce 205bhp running 20psi.

What's the maximum boost you guys would recommend running?

And I guess the real question is, will I be exceeding this when my car's sorted? It does sound a lot to me....but i've been assured by the guy who did the remap the AUGs are good for it. It's just whether the turbo's good for it that I question.

i seem to be having the same problem on my standard 1.8Turbo.
next step for me is the N75. i might try the J version...

The N75 valve is the same for the AGU/AUM/AUQ on the Golf and BAM/APX on the TT, part number 058 906 283 F.

Sorry, my mistake...

it's the N75 J from the TT I've had fitted.

034 906 283 J is used on the 5 cylinder turbo engine for the quattro and 200 from 1980 to 1995.
