Water pump, or air in cooling system?
Coolant bottle and water resevoir? Do you mean the header tank?
Re: 1.9tdi bora sport (130) 2001 overheating
So no one mentioned the water pump, no pumping = no circulation.

sorry , yes the water pump has been changed, and 4 times, all under warrenty from the first change, the air in the system sounds interesting though
yes header tanks
do you guys think the over heating and no heater are related, its got climate control, the chill works , just not the heat
Re: 1.9tdi bora sport (130) 2001 overheating
New water pump and no heater says air in the system but it should self bleed so air is being introduced and the PD is getting a reputation for heat gasket leakage. If you pull the head, remember that VAG instruct that the head must not be skimmed.

this sounds promissing, and excuse my ignorance, PD?

Pumpe Düse, pump injector-no separate injector pump.
