Polo 1.4 SE electric window question

Hi can anybody help me please?

My 1.4 Polo SE has recently been fixed for an electrical problem but since I got it back, the electric windows which used to go all the way down when you pressed the button once and then all the way back up, now only go all the way down if I hold the button down/up the whole time.

Does anybody know if there is a way to reset the control to make it go back to doing it by only pressing it once? I know in some audi's you can do something like hold it down for 5 seconds/up for 5 seconds to reset the controls.

If anyone knows, that would be greatly appreciated - otherwise I'll be back to the garage and complaining!

Just in case anyone does want to know...to reset the windows so they go all the way down with one press of the button and all the way up with one press - you need to hold the button down until the window is competely open, then release, then hold down again for 5 seconds and release. then hold button until window is all the way up, release, then hold button up for 5 seconds and release.

Just in case anybodys windows require you to hold the button the whole time!
