Our 99 2.4 is currently failing to start from cold. It is cranking fine and I can sense hints of ignition. My question is if the car could be in some kind of safe mode to save the catalysts as the last time it was started (yesterday) the car was moved 10 yards with the engine running for 10 seconds. (i have warned the wife!)
