VW Bora 1.6 8v Misfiring?.

Hi, Very much need help!......

After the car only running on 3 cylinders last time i replace the #2 spark plug and all was running fine for 1 day. Same problem came back.

I had a place call Volk Service (VW group garage, who are very good) looked at the car had a diagnostic ran on the car and found nothing. Changed all 4 spark plugs all HT leads and it was fine, They gave it a good drive an everything was fine, But today was out in the car done 70miles since it was in the garage and the misfire came back again.

There is no oil being used, no smoke from the exhaust, no water being used, nor any lights on the dash showing up.

Hi Strange there are no fault codes,but something seems to be happening every time the mechanic is working with the plugs and leads,think i would put my money on the ignition coil

I changed the fault #2 spark plug last week and it was fine for about 1day, Got some miles on the car and it came back, Thats when i thought ok, Lets get it to the garage, They changed all plugs and again it was fine, Got 70miles on the car and it came back.

Its going back to Volk Service tomorrow, As with only having to cars its a bloody pain!.
