Ghost In My Sharan !

Hi all , this is my first post so go easy on me if i make mistakes :)
I have a 1998 (r reg) sharan 1.9 tdi and recently ive had things working
by thereselves without me touching anything.
first of all the windows go down thereselves , then the horn sounds , and the
tailgate (rear hatch) decides to open by itself, im not mechanically minded
so dont have a clue wot could be wrong.
Any help would be much appreciated , as of now the car is sitting on the drive,
because i cant go anyware without these things happening.

sounds like you have water in your electrics, lift passenger side carpet and check for damp/water (all the ecu's are here),i had this problem on a 97 passat, i was lucky ,dried control module with hairdyer, solved problem. Sharans suffer from water ingress into the cabin thru the pollen filter if it has not been fitted properly, also check drain holes under bonnet (in top corners under windscreen use a piece of stiff wire to clear) hopefully this will solve your problem :beerchug:
