GTI 1.8T 180bhp... rare?

Are the only 180bhp 1.8T GTi's the Anniversary model?

I think I understand the question, VW made the Golf Anniversary in 1.8T 180bhp & TDI 150bhp form. The way to tell them apart is the 1.8T had a big chrome exhaust and the TDI didnt.

Thanks. I guess what I meant to say was, are there 180bhp's that aren't Anniversary editions? I've just bought one but it says nothing about being an anniversary on the paperwork...

Yes, they did make a 180bhp non anniversary from 2003 onwards.

A few easy differences are the 180bhp has ventilated rear disc brakes & 6 speed gearbox.

Also the engine number is different, on here somewhere the will be a breakdown of which codes denote which engines.

It should say on the logbook or if you go on www.autotrader.co.uk on the left hand side you will see a section you can put the registration number in and it will do a free check, it should show as a 180bhp on here.
