I am having a few issues with my passat syncro it has an intermittant problem when the orange EPC light illuminates on dash and it suddenly slows the cars performance. it only happens now and then and usually after a 15-20 mile journey... around town it seems ok ... can anyone advise what i could check thanks
The fact you loose engine power when the EPC engages is normal,however you need a diagnose to see if there is a fault

I had similar problems, I think the EPC light covers a multitude of things.
