(2000) 1.6 Bora Thermostat?.

First like to say am a Nebie here so i will get the drinks in :beerchug:.

My mum and dads 1.6 Bora seems never to get to "normal" running temperature even on long runs or just general driving around town, Even more so in this weather!. Its just getting a few bars from cold and the exhaust is letting condetion out still. Now it seems to be the thermostat that has gone.

So where abouts is the thermostat? And how hard are they to change?.

We need to know the engine code, there are two types of 1.6 engine.
