I have scanned again and this trojan has been deleted.I was looking for a picture of a pirburg 2e carb and was attacked by a actve x thingy that hid itself in my start up registry.Still feel unsafe about my details being invaded.
This website does have a firewall and anti virus running on the server, plus it also runs on Linux which should stop these sort of things appearing on the site.
Whilst we are not immine to such things, If you followed a link from this site, let me know which one and it will be removed. In addition, we do not allow anyone to knowingly put these links on the site, so the poster will also be removed.
Cheers stu,i googled the picture and thats where the fault lies.So your site is fine and i will be more carefull in future when sourcing info for replys.

This will always allow scripts to rn i the background from Amazon.
There is however another script that amazon runs that I wouldn't allow. "accelerator-media.com"
For sites you go to when researching click "temporarily allow"
since installing firefox and noscript - i have never had spyware or malware
I've used Mcafee Internet Security Suite for a few years now and never had any problems. I keep the security settings up high so it'll warn me of anything going on that I havent initiated basically, rarely comes up with anything in fairness but its stopped everything thats been thrown at it.
