Rear of my Passat B8 shakes on rough roads while front stays smooth – any ideas?”

Hi everyone,

I’m having an issue with my Passat B8 (250K km). When I drive on bad roads, the front wheels handle bumps really well, but the rear seems to shake and knock more and is noticeably noisier than the front.

For context, in the front I’ve replaced: • Lower control arm bushings (front & rear) • Inner & outer tie rods • Shocks & shock mounts,and Drop links

In the rear, I’ve only changed: • Shocks & shock mounts and Drop Links

Also for context i have 215/55/17 Michelin primacy 4 on the front,and Sava UHP 2 one the rear wheels

Could this problem be related to anything I haven’t replaced in the rear? Has anyone experienced something similar? Any advice would be appreciated.
