Brake bleeding

Did a pair of rear calipers today on my 2004 Fabis Vrs, tried to bleed using my trusty gunson eezi bleed but couldnt get a decent flow out of the calipers.
test drove it and a very spongy pedal.
Eezi bleed used at 15 psi, no leaks on cap.
Didnt have a helper to hand so was unable to try the 2 person method, may have another go tomorrow.
Ive encountered this on an Audi A3 recently too, the Eezi bleed not working.
Any ideas why it wont work correctly, maybe its to do with the Abs module?
I do have Vcds if needed.

VCDS is essential but you also need the battery on a good charger as a minimum. Added to this is a reservoir pressure bleeder but a third top up helper can deal with this. Does it have the Mk20 or Mk60 system?

I don’t know what system it is sorry, any way to find out?
Ive read the bleed pressure needs to be 2 Bar which may explain the lack of flow, the Eezi bleed is only rated at 20 Psi.
May be time for a better pressure bleeder.

The ABS type comes up on the VCDS screen, the book says not to exceed 1.5 Bar and our pressure bleeder is set to 1.6 which works.

Have you ever thought on using a vac pump to bleed your system as good as any bleeder

No, pressure bleeding is the recommended VAG method.

i got the missus on the pedal and did a manual bleed first and it seems to have worked.
Will look into a better pressure bleeder though.
