sos and breakdown button some info please

So, the is the first time in a car i have had the sos and breakdown button. Would someone be able to tell me how they work, who would it contact if pressed , i really have not got any idea about them, so any info would be great please

SOS button contacts the emergency services and is activated automatically in the event of an accident or manually by flipping open the cover and pressing the button. The Service button contacts the Volkswagen breakdown service in the event of problem and the Info button contacts a concierge type service to problem more general assistance.
