Audi SQ7 Vorsprung 2020 Tracker options

Hi guys. I'm new to this forum and relatively new to Audi. I ordered a Audi SQ7 in June and after two months of waiting for a build update in August I got told that the factory were no longer building them! :Screem:

I was given option of waiting till the end of year for Petrol version with no extra cost or they would look for a suitable alternative from the UK stock.

2 weeks later I was given some amazing news that Audi uk had agreed to fund a Vorsprung version. Basically they would pay the difference, I whopping 21k!! I jumped at the chance. I had ordered a standard SQ7 with pan sunroof and tour pack as extras. Cut long story short, I collect the car on Saturday and in process of trying to sort insurance which is somewhat of a nightmare. Most won't insure without a Tracker.

So I would love so advise and recommendations on what tracker system is best and any recommendations for installers? I'm based in the West Midlands. I've got the 5 day complimentary insurance so buys a little time to sort this out.

Any advice will be really appreciated.

I had the exact problem when I picked up my Q7!
I went with Audi Insurance (call them not internet) and they insured without tracker and a price half the cost of the closest competition!
did you use the 5 day free insurance when collecting?

Had ours fitted by Audi, I think it was around £540 fitted with 3 years subscription. Halved the insurance quote so paid for itself in the 1st year.

I've got the 5 day free insurance. Audi quoted me 2k for the year with a tracker. other insurers we quoting around 1800 with no tracker. LV with a tracker is just under 1k so I'll probably go with them. Tracker has been sorted, being fitted on Monday so pick up been delayed till Wednesday.

That's the tracker that's being fitted. Booked in for Monday. Thanks for the reply. Halved my insurance quote and has more then paid for itself.

Hi, sorry for bringing up this old thread - I'm on the same boat as well - I'm with LV= as well and they did insured my Q7 but without a tracker they won't take any claim due to theft. So, which tracker was fitted? Any pointer would be greatly appreciated.

Synter Audi in Leicester fitted a connect s7 Vodafone tracker. £295.
App on phone. Works really well. Brought insurance down to 1k.
