Recommend as in "are the VAG ones any good?". I certainly like the genuine ones we use on earlier Touran. Very broad and solid grip on rails.
I know vwmotorparts offers genuine roof bars.
I have the genuine VW aero type of bars on my Touran, they are great (as in, light, strong, easy to fit and quiet), for say, a Thule roof box with the quick / power grip setup - although I wonder whether I’d be better of with Thule T track ones as I want to put a 3/4 width box on the roof next to a bike.
What will you use them for?
