2005 a3 - bkc engine, conrod issue

Hi all.

Newbie here, had a few vag 105's now and currently have an a3 with engine code BKC. I did have an 09 a3 a while back with a BLS engine and for some reason when i typed that into google, it showed me thread after thread of horror stories on that and the BXE engines. Now, because this a3 being a 105 again i presume it could share the same fate? Most things on here actually state their is a difference from the BKC and it does not share the conrod issues. Why is that?
