Mk5 Golf Rattle

Hi,

My car has been making a metallic rattling sound recently. It only happens when I lift the clutch pedal and pull away from a standstill. It also happens if I'm idling and I then turn the heaters on.
Im thinking it might be something to do with the clutch cos the bite point is quite high and its the original clutch (the cars done 140k) but im not sure. Car seems to drive fine otherwise, its just the noise.
Anyone recognise the noise or know what it could be?

Its a 1.4 petrol non turbo

Timing chain would be my first thought.
