Oil filter change.

Simple question. Not sure if anyone has done before so perhaps not a simple answer; can I change the filter without removing some or all the oil? Today I changed the oil but I'd stupidly got the wrong filter. So I wanna change only the filter now if possible without removing oil. Can it be done? 14 plate 2l TDI 140.

Yes, no problem at all.

It's high up on the engine & you won't loose any oil out of it, except for the drips from the old filter as you manoeuvre it out.
