golf gti 2001 2.0

Hi everyone
Joined today just wanted to intro myself,my name is graham i am married to tracy and have two sons matthew and andrew and live in barwell nr leicestershire.
I recently brought my wife a y reg golf gti but need some advise.
When putting on A/C climate control we get a loud rumbling which i think is the A/C compresser brearing.
What i need to know if anyone can tell me is A/C part no is 150820803b presently on the car.
I have available to me a sandon sd7vcb series compresser from a golf mk 4 will this fit. :1zhelp:
the connection pipes and elec connector look the same.
