Service History

Hi all.
New to Audi forum, recently bought A5 sline 2012 plate, car came with print out of service history full from audi however I would like to know where I can confirm this is all ok as doesn't have a service book. Is there a way you can get this information online ?

From around then they don’t have a service book which I feel is stupid and it takes the person servicing the car nearly as much time just doing the bloody on line service system, which logs you out if you take too long..... daft. I think owners can get into the records using the cars VIN in My Audi, I just do it from the indi dealer side.

Thanks for the speedy reply, I've been trying to gain access to my audi for a couple of days but can't get the service up at all I'll try again then if all fails try and get into an audi centre but that's kinda last resort. Pain in the **** not having a service book

Sorry for asking but what is the indi dealer ? As I sad naively new to this.

I am registered with the system as an independent repairer so I can view and add to the service record. If you private message me your cars REG I can have a look and yes I agree, the loss of the traditional service book is a very sad move.

Unfortunately that car is too early to be on the Digital Service Schedule so it means the service book is missing which, unfairly, damages the resale value.

Ok thanks again. Gonna take it down to the dealers tomorrow see where I go from there. Fingers crossed

All sorted, went into Liverpool Audi today they gave me a full print out of full service history through pulling up the car history. Cambelt changed only a few months back so happy about that now. Strange system as Audi was serviced through a different Audi franchise than Liverpool so it was on a different system from Hitchin Audi. Still has a service plan active which they have transferred over for me today. Over all excellent customer service from Liverpool Audi.
