Hi Andy
I've been reading your coding post in the Q7 forum with interest. I'm fascinated by it but a little hesitant as a rookie. Had a string of VAGs and the Q8 is up for delivery next Saturday. Have you looked into this at all yet?

I havent had a chance to test that in practice yet but having looked at some scans of Q8's in "theory" some should work. Proof is in the pudding!
In terms of coding, if you stick with something like ODBEleven or invest a little more in something like a Genuine VCDS dongle you can't go majorly wrong.

Yeah not sure it's even possible yet.. Maybe a future release of a software update etc. Unless someone with a new q8 or A8 4n for example can confirm if it works or not on other models.Quote:
