Hi I have bought the above. When I have come to try them on car there are small screw/ grommet/cover not sure in the holes where the bars fit. Tried small screwdriver but did not won't to damage anything.does anyone know how I remove these without damage. I know it's going to be simple just don't won't to botch it...thanks
You need to pull them downwards to get them out - in the Thule Bar kit I had there was a little tool to remove them.

Thanks for the info much appreciated. I don’t have a tool to do this. Is it just like a small hook you put through hole and pull. I take it that you don’t put these back in once’ you remove bars

Yes it’s just a little hook. I kept mine a put them back in when I sold the car.

Done it... just used wood screw.. a couple of turns and a pull
