Hi Guys New to the site wanting Help and advice on my A6 TFSi Oil Pressure Warning Light !!

I have heard all the horror stories regarding the 2.0tfsi engine so when my oil pressure warning light stated coming on when i slowed to a junction or when stopping very intermittently on my 2008 audi a.6 TFSi I was seriously worried
I flushed the system took off the sump gave it and the strainer a good clean (strainer was slightly blocked) put all back together and is stopped the problem for around a week
Its now started coming on more often usually when the revs drop to idle ??Just for around 10 seconds never stays on
Should i below thinking its the oil pump ?? or could it be anything else
Any help would be much appreciated

Any oil light flashing should be seen to immediately. Car should not be driven until problem is solved . The oil pressure may still be quite low at normal engine speeds but above the light "on" threshold.

What engine code ?

no engine codes displayed Garage has said it could be faulty sensor as they cannot find anything wrong with car ,does anyone know where the oil sensor is on Audi 2.0 Tfsi 2008 I can't find anything online ??
