:confused:Hi people just took my 02 polo to the garage and theysaid my nearside front coil spring was "incomplete":confused: and i would need to fit a new one..they would do it for a fee..
I have heard they are easy to do..so anybody out there know how to do this.and what the garage ment by it being incomplete, were they just trying to get some cash out of me:aargh4::aargh4:

Hi Gypry, :biglaugh: Yhea replacing the coil spring is an absolute doddle matey, if you have the right tools. As well as a average tool kit you will need coil spring compressors i bought mine this weekend from machine mart for £30.

by incomplete they mean the coil has probably snapped! seen this a few times on the rear coils fitted to the mk3 polo. its not difficult to do, but can be fiddly if bolts are siezed!
