I am always a fan of ambient lighting, unfortunately my car is not factory fitted. So I decided to add one myself. I bought a 3 meter 12V powered EL wire from amazon, connect it to headlight fuse. Pretty simple work, not bad result. ;)

Looks well although is it not very distracting brightwise compared to the OEM offering?
It is not as glow and as bright as in the photo, I find I am OK with it.
I quite like it, reminds me of the camaro we had in the states. I'm with Chris on the brightness though, it needs to be dimmed imho.
